Content is Queen

Podcasting, TV, Radio, Video,
Social Media, Documentary, Filmmaking and Content Creation, Direction, Strategy & Executive Leadership

There genuinely isn’t a piece of content I haven’t produced. From TV and radio, to podcasts, video webinars and blogs.

From award winning documentaries to feature films, globally synchronised social media campaigns, websites and keynote speeches.

It may not be rocket science, but it is addictive.

Compelling content isn’t a choice for me. It’s something that has curiously (READ: with complete intentionality) traversed every one of my umpteen career iterations.

But why?

Because exceptional, innovative, disruptive, heartfelt content creation is my lifeblood; because I love people passionately and make it my business to inhale them (figuratively of course); because great stories deserve to be to be told, told well and told with the utmost respect; because Excellence isn’t an aspiration – it’s the only thing I will put my name to; because I live for putting other’s at ease; because I’m a 5 foot 7 –

OK, OK with platforms on…and yes, my platforms are ALWAYS on… and yes, in case you were wondering, my slippers are also high-heeled –

ideas factory whose brain explodes if I don’t put pen to paper or turn on my laptop and download my rapid fire ideations ; because I don’t just think outside the box – I live outside the box; because I always try to lead with kindness & warmth (and yes, most definitely in that order); because the last point has nothing whatsoever to do with my creative insatiability, but simply means everything to me and is how I function on this crazy planet (and now that you’re here, I thought you should know it) and because, content IS queen…

and long may she reign.

Life’s hard.  Just when you think you’re getting traction in one area, something else falls apart.  A partner passes, a friend betrays your trust, you have cancer scare, a loved one suicides, you had an absent parent and now you’re raising your own kids.  Somewhere you have to make a choice.  Do you collapse?  Or do you find your brave and keep moving forward?

I’ve spent the last 18 years covering stories about life from all around the world.  The one thing I’ve noticed in all those years and across all those stories is how unknowingly brave the everyday human is.  On my new show, BRAVE JOURNEYS™  … with TAMMI FARADAY – which is being produced in collaboration with Jam Street Media (USA) – I have the privilege of sharing with incredible people who’ve found their inner brave – often in the darkest hours – and navigated life with incredible passion and purpose.

BRAVE JOURNEYS™ is a no-holds barred podcast featuring intimate conversations with remarkable people – each with colourful and complicated histories – who reflect on their journeys and share stories of bravery to which we can all laugh, cry and ultimately relate.

Everything is fair game.  Nothing is off the table.  Relationships, politics, spirituality, sex, careers, identity, friendship, the elusive quest for achieving “balance”, kids, aging, mental & physical health, fears, insecurities, trauma, leaning in, being leant upon, responsibilities, finding meaning, childcare, childlessness, financial woes, grief, loneliness, impostor syndrome, poker faces and wellbeing.

At its heart, BRAVE JOURNEYS™ is about Vulnerability.  Transparency. Confusion.   It’s about dispensing with the curated lives that make others’ miserable…and ourselves feeling anxious and less than.  It’s about Authenticity. Integrity. Flaws. Failures. Learnings.  It’s about going deep and not shying away from pain.  It’s about being good enough.  It’s about gratitude.  It’s about disappointment and heartache.   It’s about hope.  But ultimately,  BRAVE JOURNEYS™   is about showing up, dusting yourself off and getting back up again to live your best life.

If you love getting up close and personal and you’re fascinated by the human condition and what makes us (really) tick, come and find your inner brave with me.

Coffee… with Tammi M Faraday is a platform for incredible women to talk candidly (and without judgement) about the challenges and hilarity they face in their day to day lives.

Together with Tam, inspirational women – the likes of Australia’s favourite comedian and raconteur – Rachel Berger – talk about anything and everything.  Everything is fair game.  Nothing is off the table.

Coffee is ultimately a recognition that irrespective of who you are — your credentials, socio-economic standing, marital status, political leanings, career trajectory, faith, intellect or upbringing – at the heart of it  is a universal truth that people the world over are experiencing parallel hope, fear, joy and often parallel pain.

WARNING: Normalisation is highly likely to occur!!!  Raucous laughter and tears alternate freely (but not necessarily in that order).
